It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our own, Reverend Joseph T. Scanlin, a beloved native son of St. Mary’s Parish.
Born and raised here in Lebanon, Fr. Scanlin answered God’s call to the priesthood and faithfully served the people of the Diocese of Harrisburg for many years. He retired just one month ago in June while serving as Pastor of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Elysburg.
We invite all who knew and loved Fr. Scanlin to join us as we commend him to the Lord in the parish where his journey of faith began.
