CCW MEETING 9/5

🌷 Calling All Women of the Parish! 🌷

The CCW (Council of Catholic Women) invites all women of our parish to join us for our upcoming meeting!

📅 Saturday, September 5
📍 Saint Joseph Hall
Breakfast begins at 8:30 AM
🕘 Meeting begins at 9:00 AM

We’ll be making plans for two of our upcoming events — our Fall Fest and Christmas Bazaar!

All women of the parish are invited to attend. We especially welcome new members! We need more women to help keep our CCW active and thriving, whether by helping with preparations beforehand or lending a hand on the day of our events.

Giving our time and talent to our parish is an important part of spiritual discipleship and an opportunity to serve God while strengthening our parish community.

Come enjoy breakfast, meet other women of the parish, and find out how you can be part of the CCW.

We hope to see you there! ❤️

Women Sharing Faith at Our Lady of Fatima in Jonestown 9/19

Women Sharing Faith at Our Lady of Fatima 💙

Starting this September 19th , women of all ages are invited to come together at Our Lady of Fatima on the first and third Saturdays of each month for prayer, learning, conversation, and friendship.

This year, the group will journey through Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother, exploring Mary’s life through Scripture and growing in our understanding of her unique role in God’s plan.

Whether you are a longtime participant or have never attended before, you are warmly invited to join us.

Do You Want to Become Catholic?

Interested in Becoming Catholic? ✝️

Have you been thinking about becoming Catholic—or completing the Sacraments you began earlier in life?

St. Mary’s offers OCIA (formerly RCIA) for adults who are:
• Seeking Baptism
• Already baptized in another Christian tradition and interested in becoming Catholic
• Baptized Catholic but wishing to complete their Sacraments of Initiation

We also offer Religious Education for children and young people, helping prepare them for the Sacraments, including First Holy Communion and Confirmation, while growing in their understanding of Scripture, prayer, and our Catholic faith.

Perhaps you’ve been thinking about it for a while. This may be the time to take that next step.

For information or to ask questions, please contact our Director of Religious Education through the parish office at 717-272-5674.

Please share this post—you never know who may be waiting for an invitation. ❤️

❤️ To every sponsor: thank you.

Your generosity supports St. Mary’s and Our Lady of Fatima and helps continue a tournament that has become much more than a day of golf. It is a day of friendship, parish community, remembrance, and gratitude.

We especially remember Charlie Middleton, whose presence and legacy remain such an important part of this tournament, and we honor Susie Middleton for all she has done and continues to mean to our parish family.

May God bless all of our sponsors, and may He lovingly embrace all those whose names are remembered through this year’s tournament. 🙏

Wednesday Adoration

There is always room for one more heart in prayer. ❤️

We are blessed to offer Eucharistic Adoration every Wednesday at St. Mary’s, beginning immediately after the 8:00 AM Mass and concluding with the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Benediction at 10:30 AM.

We are looking for parishioners who are able to spend some time with Our Lord on Wednesday mornings. During Eucharistic Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament may never be left unattended, so having faithful adorers throughout the morning is an important ministry in the life of our parish.

Whether you can stay for the entire morning or just part of the time, your presence makes a difference. Even one hour—or a portion of an hour—helps ensure that someone is always there in prayer before the Lord.

If your schedule allows, please consider stopping by to spend some quiet time with Jesus.
