All women of the parish are encouraged and warmly invited to attend the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) meetings, held on the third Saturday of each month from September through May. Each gathering begins with a continental breakfast at 8:30 AM, generously provided by volunteer hostesses, offering a time for fellowship and conversation before the meeting begins at 9:00 AM. Most meetings last about one hour. All women of the parish are already considered part of this council. We invite you to join us in friendship, prayer, and service.

Our Mission

To address and faithfully answer the needs of people in our parish family, may Our Lady of Good Counsel guide and keep us.

What Happens at Our Meetings

Each meeting begins and ends with prayer, including special intentions for members and loved ones with concerns.

Our meetings also include:

  • The Pledge of Allegiance
  • A reading of the day’s Gospel
  • Fellowship and spiritual support
  • Discussion of parish needs, projects, and upcoming events

The Council is led by four officers, each serving a four-year term.

The CCW maintains a budget and sponsors fundraisers throughout the year to help support parish needs, ministries, and special projects.

Join Us

The Council of Catholic Women is a beautiful way to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve our parish community together.

A volunteer is needed to collect items and assemble gift baskets for the Christmas Bazaar raffle. We are hoping someone would be willing to organize a group to create them for Christmas 2026! Contact Patty Price 7172742007 if you have question or if interested.

🎁 Calling All Creative Hearts!

Do you love putting things together, making something beautiful, and bringing joy to others?

St. Mary’s is looking for a volunteer — or a small team — to take the lead on our beloved Christmas Bazaar Gift Baskets, a tradition lovingly handled for years by Marion Bleistine.

It’s time to pass the cellophane 😉

These baskets are a BIG part of our bazaar — and one of the most fun parts too!

✨ We will help

✨ We will support

✨ You will NOT be doing this alone

🙏 Please take a moment to pray about it… you might be just the person God is calling for this special role.
